أعلن حاكم كاليفورنيا، غافين نيوسوم، أن السبب الرئيس لانتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد في الولاية والذي أدى لإصابة أكثر من 60 ألف شخص ووفاة 2500 آخرين هو صالون تجميل مختص بالأظافر.
